Entrance Formalities

If you are not a Czech citizen or a citizen of one the European Union (EU) countries, Unites States or Canada, you may possibly need to apply for a visa process before you travel to the Czech Republic.

In case of uncertainty, please consult the page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for the list of countries, which citizens are required to have a visa for entering the Czech Republic.

Passport & Visa Requirements

If you require a visa to participate at the conference, we will be happy to provide you with a formal invitation letter required for your stay. In such case please contact Principal Secretary: dominik.dragoun@ujv.cz

Czech Republic is a part of the European Union and the Schengen Area. The visitors from non-EU countries must possess a passport valid for at least three months ahead. Participants requiring a visa should apply at least three months in advance to the consular office of the Czech Republic in their country in order to avoid inconvenience. Please note that the visa application procedure can take up to two months.

Notice:

Invitation letters for visa purposes can only be sent to people who have completed the registration process. Conference organizers are not able to provide you an invitation letter verified by the Foreign Police Inspectorate.
